On the mini box the wifi was ok but i have reset the network connection as a precaution and re authenticated from the main box.

Hi i have a no signal problem on my sky q mini box the main box is working fine.
First i deleted a lot of old recordings on the main sky q box and removed all the deleted ones.
There is a thought that although the main box holds a lot there mini doesn t and that may be an issue.
Wait at least 4 minutes and press sky to switch on your box.
The main box router extender booster is working fine.
Unplug your main sky box from the wall wait 10 seconds and plug this back in and wait for it to fully reboot.
My sky q minibox is showing no satellite signal even though the main sky q box is working fine.
After no satellite signal for a week on my sky q mini i ve resolved it with a mixture of things.
I ve restarted the boxes and bt home hub multiple times but nothing seems to fix it.
I have rebooted unplugged re connected to the main box and restarted the router ll to no avail any suggestions please.
Check there s no lights on at the front of your box and that all cables are securely connected.
I do have a sky engineer booked but it s not for a week yet so hoping to get the box working aga.

Hi cindy12345 this is caused by your main box dropping off from your mino box and can happy time to time.
Sky q mini box if you re getting a no satellite signal no signal or no input on screen message on your sky or sky q box or if your picture is freezing when watching live tv this troubleshooting guide will help get you back up and running again.
No do to your mini box this may already be working but if not unplug from the wall wait ten seconds and plug it back in and follow any on screen instructions.
If this doesn t work and you still have no signal try restarting your box.
No it s doubtful the link you posted above will do anything to fix your issue hardwiring from the router to the main box will do nothing either you need to hardwire from the main box to the mini box or hardwire from the main box to a sky q booster and wps from the booster to the mini box like i suggested earlier.
